On September 12, 2018, Glenbard West Girls Varsity Field Hockey played North Shore County Day at home, Memorial Field. Despite the team effort, West lost 1-3. The goal was scored by Forward Jennika Park (senior). However, many other offensive plays were made with attempts on goal. The girls managed to fend off North Shore County Day’s offense for most of the game but were defeated by a few lucky breakaways.
