On September 5, 2019, Glenbard West Girls Varsity Volleyball beat Proviso West in two sets at West’s home courts in Biester Gym. With players Katie Langan (junior) and Ananda Patterson (senior) out due to injuries, it was imperative for the girls to come together and focus to win the game; and that’s exactly what they did. With powerful attacks from hitters like Virginia Curtis (junior), Ellory Graff (seniors), and others, the girls were able to maintain a successful offense. Pairing a solid attack with their strong Defensive Specialists, like Katie Ryan (senior), Sophie Alles (senior), and Maeve Campanella (sophomore), and assistance by Setter Kaitlyn Dumerer (senior), a well-deserved win was earned by these girls.
