As our 2022-2023 school year wraps up, a long-standing staff member is retiring and saying her goodbyes to the school. This would be Mary Moran, who has been a part of supporting and helping students with their passion for reading as a secretary in the Elliot Library. After 19 years here, she describes her experience as “awesome”, and her favorite thing about the Glenbard West community was “seeing the students grow every year and working with (her) co-workers.” But, she doesn’t plan on staying local after she says her farewells. In fact, her plans are quite the opposite. She will be catching up on lots of traveling, like her upcoming 3-week road trip on Route 66. The students and staff will miss Ms. Moran, but we wish her the best of luck on her new adventures!
